Job Summary:                       
Responsible for processing materials for production orders, sales orders and transfer orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Neatly and accurately complete necessary paperwork: timesheet, 5S checklist and requisitions for production materials.
  • Correctly use computer to perform duties such as: clock-in and clock-out, create labels for parts, and perform search of inventory information including on-hand quantities and locations.
  • Use handheld barcode scanner.
  • Maintain correct stock quantities through cycle counts.
  • Accurately read and use tape measure.
  • Operate fabrication machinery, i.e. shear, band saw, abrasives saw, etc.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and calculate dimensional requirements for production materials.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
  • Safely operate forklift to load and unload trucks. (Requires valid Driver’s License)
  • Carefully operate cranes, hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.
  • Regularly check shelves to determine items needed for stock replenishment. Pull overflow items necessary to fill these shelves.

Tools and Technology Skills:

Regular use of desktop computer including Microsoft Office / AX Dynamics and shipping/receiving related websites or software, copier/scanner, fax, telephone, and handheld barcode scanner.

Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Hourly position available on 1st shift: M-F 6:30 am- 3:00pm. Position requires the ability to work over-time which may include arriving early or working on normally scheduled days off.
